ORLAND — Glenn County drug agents Monday raided a property south of Orland and eradicated nearly 2,000 marijuana plants, according to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.

Agents with the Glenn Count Interagency Narcotics Task Force, sheriff’s deputies and probation officers executed a search warrant in the 6600 block of County Road 20, finding 1,835 marijuana plants, according to a news release.Agents also found about five pounds of processed marijuana and a firearm.
During the execution of the warrant, officers arrested 29-year-old Orland resident Alfredo Ordaz on suspicion of keeping a place to sell a controlled substance, according to arrest logs.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, any cultivation of marijuana outside a residence is a violation of county rules.
