Cannabis tincture review: Humboldt Apothecary Sweet Jane

Ears perk up when cannabis born and raised in Humboldt County is on the table. Humboldt Apothecary’s Sweet Jane 16:1 CBD:THC tincture is made with pure, clean cannabis oil from some of the most nurtured indica/sativa hybrids on the planet. But what really makes this product stand above the rest is the magic from the herbs’ interaction.

“The endocannabinoid system is depleted in most human bodies, and using a high-quality tincture bathes your system,” said Gillian Levy, expert botanist at Humboldt Apothecary. Just a small dose of Sweet Jane (four to five drops) is a mood elevator. Within minutes, a positive feeling started to crowd out other feelings of anxiety and stress. After a half hour, the effects were comparable to smoking a nice strain of Durban sativa: uplifting, functional, and anxiety-busting. I also noticed an improvement in my ability to focus.

The tincture is light and vibrant, with notes of cinnamon to brighten the palate. Thanks to its coconut MCT oil base, it is also tastes smooth and round. It is very approachable in terms of flavor, brings powerful freedom from anxiety and is not psychoactive. It’s not the cheapest tincture out there, but one bottle should last a while due to its efficacy in small doses.

This is an excellent choice for someone who is new to cannabis.

The wrap: The more times I sample it, the more I think of Sweet Jane as the nectar of the gods. It’s a perfect 10 out of 10 for those who desire a calm focus and energy to move with ease throughout the day.
