Cannabis tincture review: Treatwell Health Wellness Blend

Treatwell Health makes some of the most potent, affordable and sustainably grown tinctures available. At the 2016 Emerald Cup, they won first and second place for Best Tincture with their CBDA and 20:1 CBD-rich formulas, respectively.

While many people turn to Treatwell’s 20:1 cannabis tincture for anxiety relief, I personally liked the multiple health benefits of the Wellness formula. It is a non-psychoactive blend of CBDA and THCA, which are unactivated acid compounds, as well as CBD and THC. The interaction of these four cannabis substrates make for some unique healing properties. CBDA, for instance, is both anti-inflammatory and blocks the proliferation of cancer cells. THCA can shield nerves from damage, ease spasms, reduce pain, and also guards the body from cancer growth. These two raw compounds are still being heavily researched, but initial evidence shows that they help strengthen the immune system and support the body’s ability to heal itself.

Don’t miss the rest of our reviews of tinctures for anxiety.

Wellness’s extract is a hybrid blend of two strains: Ringo 2012 and Treatwell’s proprietary Royal Kush, which has 24 percent total cannabinoids and is very high in beta-caryophyllene, nerolidol, and terpineol. The Wellness tincture is also rich in antioxidants and terpene content, partially due to the raw acids and their synergistic effects on the neutral THC & CBD.

Mood-wise, Wellness produced a feeling of calm energy. A nice surprise was that this tincture both soothed my stomach and stimulated my appetite, making it a good fit for any tummy-related health issues. I appreciated its yummy, sunny taste.

The wrap: If you’re looking for a combo tincture that is a non-psychoactive “daily supplement” and can act as a preventative, Treatwell’s Wellness is a great fit for you.
