Warm is a word I re-learned the true meaning of after sampling the libido-boosting tea from Kikoko, makers of cannabis infused teas.

For those who aren’t looking to get high but do want to loosen up, Sensuali-Tea is a magical blend of natural aphrodisiac botanicals and potent cannabis extract. One sachet is 7 mgs of THC, so for those who are sensitive to THC’s effects or are new users, this tea may bring out some psychoactivity. I’d recommend this tea wholeheartedly for people with no familiarity with cannabis, starting slow with a half a cup of tea.

The effects are subtle, but noticeable if you’re able to slow down and listen. Kikoko’s Sensuali-Tea induced an overall yumminess into my system. Before an hour had passed, I felt like a big cat lounging in the sun. It was easy to reach for desire from this place. I wouldn’t say it put me in the mood so much as it paved the way for me to feel good. It wasn’t psychoactive for me, and if you’re an experienced cannabis connoisseur, a single sachet may not impact you strongly.

Speaking of good, Sensuali-Tea tastes delicious and the color is a rich, dark red owing to the hibiscus and rose petals. I almost wished I’d had a goblet to drink it out of. Other ingredients like cloves and cardamom increase circulation and support the heart to do its thing like beating regularly, and loving hard. A great treat for yourself and your own journey to self-acceptance, or to drink with your sweeties.

As mentioned in other reviews, Kikoko uses a special proprietary blend of cannabis extract that’s “water dispersable” and does not leave any kind of weird cannabis gunk or residue in the tea. It’s super smooth and tastes like a really food cup of tea. Also if you’re looking to get a little fancy, take a look at the following recipe* from Kikoko. I tried it, and loved it.

The Wrap: An ideal beverage for Valentine’s Day. Sensuali-Tea is wonderful for someone hoping to “fire their desire” and would prefer not to go the smoking, vaping, or edibles routes.

Potency: 7 mg of THC in every sachet, 10 sachets per canister.

Effects: Sensuali-Tea was an 8 out of 10 for warming up the body and boosting libido.

Price: Prices may vary, but in general, $6-10 for an individual pouch or $44-60 per can of 10 sachets.

Availability: Kikoko’s teas are currently available in the Bay Area and the greater Los Angeles area, but there are a few dispensaries that stock it along the Central Coast; stay tuned as they expand.
