Southern California bands Dirty Heads and Sublime with Rome have teamed up to curate the High & Mighty Fest, a two-day event featuring headlining sets from both acts set to take place Saturday, Aug. 5, and Sunday, Aug. 6 at Oak Canyon Park (5305 E Santiago Canyon Road) in Silverado.

In partnership with KROQ/106.7 FM, Orange County-based music festival production company Synergy Global Entertainment (Knotfest/Ohana/Lost Highway), Bill Hardie (Musink Tattoo Convention & Music Festival/Hootenanny) and Mike “Cheez” Brown (band manager), both bands will present two stages of music per day featuring top reggae, roots, hip-hop and rock artists.

Sublime with Rome, SOJA, Stick Figure, Method Man & Redman, Magic!, Ghostface Killah, King Lil G. Custom, Landon McNamara and Iva Terra are slated to perform on Saturday. Dirty Heads, Jurassic 5, Tribal Seeds, Tech N9ne, Chief Keef, Murs, Ballyhoo!, Katastro, Pacific Dub and Know-Madik will take the stages on Sunday. More artists will be announced in the coming months.

“The secret is out, Southern California,” Rome Ramirez of Sublime with Rome said via a press release. “Get ready for High & Mighty! This festival is extra special to us not only because it’s in our hometown, but because we’re partners in the event! We wanted to create something special for the fans that help make this music become as big as it has and what better way to do that than to team up with KROQ and throw a massive festival in Orange County?”

There will also be carnival rides, games and a slew of onsite activities. Promoters have also limited the venue capacity to just 8,000 to reduce the headache of traffic heading into Oak Canyon Park.

Single-day tickets start at $65 plus parking and fees. VIP tickets are $149 per day and there is an artist Meet & Greet option either Dirty Heads or Sublime with Rome for $299. KROQ pre-sale begins today, April 20, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at KROQ.com. Tickets for the general public will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 21 at HighandMightyFest.com.
