Attend a cannabis-enhanced yoga class

Bend and Blaze, a cannabis centered yoga and mediation group, is holding a Meetup event in the Sacramento area. Yoga, tea and cannabis treats such as edibles, topicals, tinctures and flowers will be provided. The intimate gathering is OK for both the cannabis-curious and experienced connoisseurs to have a safe place to learn about the benefits of holistic medicine without the solitude.

Golden Tarp Awards add live-stream of judging

The Golden Tarp Awards are coming back to Humboldt County for a fourth year, judging the best of this year’s cannabis grown outdoors using light deprivation. And this year for the first time, judging for the competition will be live-streamed for viewers everywhere. The event will also feature speaker panels, lounges and more.

Emerald Cup competition and festival returns to Santa Rosa

What started out as a small cannabis competition in Mendocino County has evolved into a massive cannabis lifestyle festival. Entries are open now for the contest, which honors the year’s finest organic, sun-grown cannabis harvest. The weekend festival will also feature a roster of speakers, workshops, glass artists and music acts, which have yet to be announced.

• When: 11 a.m. Dec. 9-Dec. 10
• Where: Sonoma County Fairgrounds at 1350 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa
• How much: Early bird tickets start at $60 per day or $110 for the weekend, with VIP packages available
